The Retreat Experience Led by third-generation, classically trained Pilates teacher Sophie Hatton, founder of Reformer Retreats and Pilates Works, together with Kim Reid of The Yoga Collaboration, a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance - trained in Vinyassa, Hatha & Yin yoga. This retreat weaves two powerful movement methodologies into one harmonious experience. * Classical Reformer Classes - Across the retreat, several reformer sessions on Legacy equipment will run each day, designed to meet you exactly where you are in your practice. You’ll have the opportunity to join intermediate/advanced sessions for a deeper, more challenging Classical flow, or beginner and beginner+ sessions that focus on foundations, alignment and confidence on the equipment. Each class is intentionally structured to build strength, enhance posture, refine technique and reconnect you with the authentic Classical method. * Yoga & Restorative Practices - Daily group sessions will incorporate gentle flow, mindful movement, restorative postures and deep relaxation. Using props, bolsters and blankets, mornings begin with soft, steady practices designed to wake up the body and settle the mind with breath-led movement and guided meditation. Evenings slow into Yin or Yoga Nidra — creating space to unwind, soothe the nervous system and invite profound rest. Together, these sessions create a seamless rhythm of strengthening, re-centring and re-focusing — offering a complete mind-body reset in the calm of the Cotswolds.
