Blackletter & Varsity Alphabet Quilt Pattern Bundle – Uppercase, Lowercase & Varsity Letters – FPP PDF

This alphabet quilt pattern bundle includes three printable PDFs complete with foundation paper piecing (FPP) templates for: - Varsity (for all your sports-themed projects!) - Lowercase Blackletter ( a gothic, calligraphic lettering style) - Uppercase Blackletter (designed to work interchangeably with the lowercase letters) Please let me know if you have any questions! VARSITY The Varsity letters quilt block pattern includes blocks for 26 letters, 10 numbers and some bonus punctuation. Letter and number blocks are 5 1/2" wide by 6 1/2" high, unfinished. Punctuation blocks are 6 1/2" high to make alignment with other blocks easy, but vary in width. These blocks are scrap-friendly and the amount of background and foreground fabric required varies depending on the block. In general, for one letter, allow roughly: • one 7 x 7 piece for the strokes of the letter • one 8 x 8 piece for the background BLACKLETTER LOWERCASE and UPPERCASE The upper and lowercase letters and designed to work together to create any custom message or personalization for your sewing projects. Blocks are 9.5" high and at least 4" wide (depending on the letter). - uppercase, 34 pages - lowercase, 36 pages, with bonus baby quilt pattern instructions and two alternates for the letters “s” and “x” (not pictured but they match the ones in Uppercase) Blackletter numbers available separately or in a Blackletter bundle. Patch and Dot alphabets have been used for baby quilts, stockings, craft banners, wedding presents and more ... the only limit is your imagination! TOOLS To create your blocks, you will need: a printer, scissors, lightweight paper, a sewing machine, thread, needle, ruler with markings in inches, cutting mat, and a rotary cutter.
