MOZA HMA150 Motion System The MOZA HMA150 Motion System is MOZA's flagship 4-axis, 3DOF motion platform for PC racing and flight simulation. With four actuators, 150 mm of stroke, 300 mm/s maximum speed and more than 1G of acceleration, it reproduces pitch, roll and heave while adding high-frequency vibration to connect your physical cockpit to braking, acceleration, cornering, kerbs, bumps and landings. Main Features MOZA's flagship motion platform: a complete motion solution designed to extend the MOZA simulation ecosystem beyond Direct Drive wheel bases and active pedals. 4-axis, 3DOF architecture: four actuators reproduce pitch, roll and heave. The architecture is designed with future 6-axis and 7-axis expansion in mind. 150 mm maximum stroke: substantial vertical travel for suspension movement, kerbs, rough surfaces, rally jumps and landings. 300 mm/s maximum speed and more than 1G acceleration: rapid physical feedback for hard braking, weight transfer, impacts and fast transitions. 0–200 Hz wide-band vibration: high-frequency feedback for engine vibration, road seams, expansion joints and fine surface detail. 8 ms response time: rapid response designed to keep physical feedback closely synchronised with the simulator. High-torque-density servo motor: near-zero cogging torque, a precision ball screw and smooth, detailed motion feedback. 21-bit magnetic encoder: 2,097,152 points of resolution for precise position sensing and motion control. 600 MHz control processor: real-time processing of motion data and control commands. Up to 350 kg payload: maximum payload specified by MOZA for the complete four-actuator system. 180 kgf peak thrust per actuator: each actuator combines a high-performance servo motor with a precision ball screw. 48V low-voltage DC architecture: designed for reliable home use, with quiet operation and integrated control electronics. Integrated axis controller: side-mounted control electronics reduce the need for bulky external servo controllers. Integrated emergency stop: immediate motion shutdown when required, with power-loss protection for a controlled platform descent. RGB ambient lighting: customisable 16.7-million-colour lighting can reflect ABS, traction control, flag signals and other telemetry events. MOZA Motion Manager: adjust motion range, intensity, individual degrees-of-freedom effects and vibration feedback, with guided setup, self-check and automatic calibration. MOZA AI Motion: analyses supported game audio and visuals to provide haptic feedback in compatible games without native telemetry, while telemetry remains available where supported. High-strength aluminium alloy housing: rigid actuator construction with integrated mounting rails for adjustable installation height. Technical Specifications Architecture: 4-axis, 3DOF motion system Movements: pitch, roll and heave Maximum actuator stroke: 150 mm Maximum actuator speed: 300 mm/s Maximum acceleration: more than 1G Vibration frequency: 0–200 Hz Response time: 8 ms Maximum payload: 350 kg for the four-actuator system Peak actuator thrust: 180 kgf per actuator Heave: ±75 mm Pitch: ±7.59° Roll: ±12.04° Actuation system: electric motor and precision ball screw actuator Encoder: 21-bit magnetic, 2,097,152 points of resolution Processor: 600 MHz Actuator dimensions: 475 × 110 × 85 mm per actuator, with Ø100 mm support base Actuator weight: 6.8 kg per actuator Main control box: 113 × 125 × 82 mm Housing: high-strength aluminium alloy and plastic Input: 110–220V AC to 48V DC Rated power consumption: 1500 W for the 4-axis system Connections: RJ11 actuator connections, RJ9 emergency-stop connection and power input Mounting: bolt-on installation with integrated sliders, M8 × 16 screws and T-slot nuts for compatible aluminium-profile rigs Recommended rig footprint: 1200 × 750 mm Minimum stated footprint: 700 × 500 mm Operating environment: indoors, 15°C to 35°C, away from direct sunlight Maintenance: lubrication through the maintenance port approximately every 6 months Compatibility and Installation PC only. The system is controlled through MOZA Motion Manager. The HMA150 requires a compatible aluminium-profile cockpit capable of accepting four actuators installed vertically and at the same height. The actuators must be mounted securely and perfectly vertical to ensure correct motion behaviour. Some 40120 and 40160 aluminium profiles with a closed central rail may require the separate MOZA HMA Profile Adapter Kit. Tube-style cockpits are not currently supported by the HMA150 system. MOZA AI Motion can extend haptic feedback to supported games without native telemetry. Native telemetry support is available in selected titles including Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Assetto Corsa EVO, Assetto Corsa Rally, iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate, F1 23, F1 24, F1 25, EA SPORTS WRC, DiRT Rally 2.0, Automobilista 2, RaceRoom Racing Experience, BeamNG.drive, Forza Motorsport, Forza Horizon 5, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. MOZA AI Motion support includes selected titles such as Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced, Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2. The HMA150 integrates with MOZA wheel bases, pedals and accessories for a coherent MOZA simulation setup. What's in the Box Four MOZA HMA150 Haptic Motion Actuators Components required to build the four-actuator motion system Factory-supplied power and connection components for the system Important Notes Safety: keep hands and feet away from the actuators and the area beneath the seat during operation. The system is not suitable for pregnant users, individuals with heart conditions, elderly users or people with pre-existing medical conditions. Power: use only the supplied power adapter and install the emergency stop where it can be reached quickly. Age restriction: not suitable for children under 12. Users under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. FAQ What movements does the MOZA HMA150 reproduce? The system reproduces pitch, roll and heave through four actuators. It combines these three degrees of freedom with high-frequency vibration for engine, kerb and surface feedback. Is the MOZA HMA150 compatible with consoles? No. The MOZA HMA150 is PC only and is controlled through MOZA Motion Manager. What cockpit is required? You need a compatible aluminium-profile cockpit with bolt-on mounting for four actuators, installed vertically at the same height. Some closed-rail 40120 and 40160 profiles require the separate HMA Profile Adapter Kit, while tube-style cockpits are not currently supported. What is the difference between Motion Manager and AI Motion? MOZA Motion Manager controls the motion system and lets you tune its range, intensity, degrees-of-freedom effects and vibration. MOZA AI Motion can analyse supported game audio and visuals to add haptic feedback where native telemetry is not available. How much load can the four-actuator system support? MOZA specifies a maximum payload of 350 kg for the complete four-actuator system. The cockpit, seat and mounting structure must also be suitable for the installation. How should the HMA150 be maintained? MOZA specifies lubrication through the maintenance port approximately every six months. Keep the system indoors, away from direct sunlight, and within the stated operating environment.
