'Kintsugi' Sculptural Raku Vessel
One-of-a-kind sculptural ceramic vessel that incorporates the ancient art of Kintsugi (meaning "golden joinery"). The ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending fractures with gold. Instead of hiding the damage, the technique highlights the fault lines to treat breakage as part of the object's history. Created in a Raku firing by long time St. Albert Potter's Guild member Cynthia Tang-Yeh. Approximately 8.5" tall x 9" wide at top rim. *items do not hold water and are not food safe
