Shimano Speedmaster Surf Rod

The new SpeedMaster Surf series of rods are built to deliver great land-based casting and fish fighting performance across 7 models. The blanks incorporate Shimano's 24T Carbon blank construction, which provide the rod with great strength and casting ability. The butt configuration is designed for big pendulum casts and features a custom cross weave shrink tube grip, which aids in weight reduction whilst increasing grip and sensitivity. Fitted to the blank are Fuji K Alconite guides for enhanced casting performance which is vital when trying to achieve maximum distance from the shore. This series offers great versatility with 9’0”, 10’0”, 12’0” and 13’0” length models, with 1 overhead and 6 spin model. Rated across from 3-6kg to a whopping 12-20kg, and with varying casting weights from 10g to 180g, this series is purpose built for a wide range of land-based fishing styles.
