Sony MDR-7506 Headphones

The Sony MDR-7506 is a long-standing industry-standard monitoring headphone used throughout broadcast, recording, production and location sound. Designed for accurate, dependable monitoring, its 40mm dynamic drivers and neodymium magnets provide a detailed, well-balanced sound across a wide 10Hz–20kHz frequency range. The closed-back, circumaural design helps reduce external noise and prevents unwanted sound leakage, making the MDR-7506 well suited to recording, mixing, dialogue monitoring and critical listening. Padded earcups and an adjustable headband provide a comfortable fit during extended sessions, while the folding construction makes the headphones easy to store and transport. A fixed coiled cable terminates in a gold-plated 3.5mm stereo connector, with a screw-on 6.3mm adaptor included for use with professional audio equipment. A protective carry pouch is also supplied.
