Vintage British Union Jack Flag Holder

This graphic vintage British patriotic decoration was made from printed cardboard in the shape of a shield and decorated with a Union Jack design. A folded cardboard holder on the reverse has three openings that were likely made to hold the sticks of small flags, allowing them to fan out above the shield when displayed. An original blue and cream ribbon remains attached for hanging. Does show age-related wear including a tear on the front center and bent edges. Measures approximately 11" x 9". Sourced in England. Circa 1930s–1950s.
