19TH CENTURY 18CT GOLD TWIST DOG CLIP

A lovely chunky antique twist dog clip made of 18ct gold. The dog clip has a twist mechanism, locking shut with a pretty reeded screw collar that twists up to open the clip and down to close it. Once fastened it is completely secure. I have not found such a chunky example of this design before!
