13 inch diameter bell metal bronze singing bowl handmade in Kathmandu, Nepal. The circular emblem is the Chinese shou symbol, traditionally associated with longevity and a long life. The Tibetan inscription reads Om Mani Padme Hum, the mantra associated with Chenrezig, or Avalokiteshvara, and the cultivation of compassion and wisdom. Together, we mean -- A long life shaped by compassion. result is a bowl with real dimension: low pressure you can feel, a distinct musical center, and a brighter voice suspended above it. The sound characteristics of this bowl are church bell-like: a true fundamental between 60-70hz, primary body tone in the 190's and a dominant overtone cluster near 360-370.
