Exclusive to Myka Candles & Moulds, our Palm Sunday Woven Cross Silicone Candle Mould is designed to help you create meaningful cross candles with a soft woven detail inspired by traditional palm crosses. Hand-poured in Australia using premium platinum-cure silicone, this mould is perfect for creating religious candles for Palm Sunday, Easter, baptisms, confirmations, memorials, church events, gifting, and home décor. The clean cross shape and wrapped centre detail create a timeless design that is simple, elegant, and symbolic. Our platinum-cure silicone moulds are durable, flexible, and tear-resistant, making them suitable for repeated use with candle wax, soap, resin, plaster, concrete, and similar casting materials. Please note that while platinum-cure silicone can withstand high temperatures, we do not recommend exposing the mould to excessive heat for long periods. To use for candle making, wick the mould through the top and bottom, ensuring the wick is centred and taut. Pour your melted wax and allow it to set fully before carefully unmoulding. For best results, we recommend pre-heating the mould before pouring to help reduce jump lines and trapped air bubbles. Please allow up to 4 business days for your mould to be hand-poured and processed. Mould Perfomance & Storage The physical life of the mould depends on how you use it (materials cast, frequency, etc.). Casting abrasive materials such as concrete can quickly erode mould detail, while casting non-abrasive materials, such as wax, will not affect mould detail. Do not over-stretch or use any abrasive tools or fingernails when demoulding. Before storing, the mould should be cleaned with a soap solution and fully dry. Two part moulds should be assembled. Moulds should be stored on a level surface in a cool, dry environment to maintain its original shape.
