Our three whites built for the varieties that feel most at home in a Mediterranean climate — Fiano, Riesling and an aromatic blend, each suited to the warm, dry conditions of South Australia. This limited-edition bundle brings together three of Stephen's most expressive white wines, each crafted from grapes chosen for how well they translate to our landscape. From the coastal, sun-drenched charm of Fiano to the cool-climate precision of Riesling, and the spice-driven complexity of Aromatico, this trio celebrates place, character, and good drinking. 2025 PROTERO RIESLING The Return of a Cult Favourite After years of anticipation, the Protero Riesling is back. The 2025 vintage delivers exactly what we'd been waiting for — fruit from Block 3, the coldest, highest part of our Kenton Valley vineyard, perfectly suited to this Austrian-Germanic expression of Riesling. This is not your typical Australian Riesling. Dry, textural, and confidently aromatic, it trades the usual bright citrus for something more nuanced: apple and spice dancing through a field of native flowers. "I like Riesling and think our part of the Adelaide Hills — with its altitude, cool air and granite soils — is ideal for growing the variety. We took a chance, pulling out young Chardonnay and planting Riesling, but I think we'll be proved correct: Riesling is at home in the Adelaide Hills." — Stephen Pannell 2025 S.C. PANNELL FIFI FIANO Finding white varieties suited to the Mediterranean climate has always been one of the greatest challenges — and with Fiano, that challenge is being met. As one of Italy's oldest cultivars, Fiano is at home in Campania but can also be found in Basilicata and Sardinia. The proximity to the coast and warm dry summers of these regions bear a striking similarity to McLaren Vale. Named for Fiona Pannell, known to her friends as Fi Fi and the driving force behind Pannell Enoteca. In Stephen's words, "a wine that gives praise and thanks to the siren song that makes life complete." 2023 Protero Aromatico Wise | Exotic | Delightful. A drier version of our favourite wine to drink with spicy food.
