Snap No1 - Dan Hobday

The first in the Snap series introduces a warm, earthy palette: deep brown, raw umber and dark ochre layered beneath and over gestural marks in near-black. A loose, snapping diagonal form anchors the composition, creating tension between the warm ground and the sharper gesture above.
