The Horse with Exceptional Curved Neck and Head Hand Carved Birchwood Retaining Traces of Original Paint Scandinavian, c.1800 7.5" high x 25" long x 6.5" deep Provenance: Private Collection, Minnesota In genuine original as found condition, this examples benefits from an exceptionally elegant stylised horse handle, with silhouette legs carved into the handle uprights and a sinuous high arched neck. The board itself had a moulded detail to the boarder and retains much of the original painted surface. A fine and elegant example. Ref: 11963
