Malinga - Rosé 2023

(Kamptal, Austria) 100% Rotburger (otherwise known as Zweigelt). A delicate blush colour that belies the dynamism of this wine, which has super crisp electric acidity, incredibly refreshing. Lime zest, wild strawberries, and a touch of minerality and raspberry leaf herbals to round it out. Made by Christoph Heiss, a young producer who has recently taken over his family's winery in Engabrunn, Kamptal, and is producing some of the most exciting wines in Austria today. We've been delighted to see Christoph's project continuing to grow, and see that each year he is able to make such pure wines showing astonishing maturity.
