Antique 19thC French Louis XV Ormolu & Walnut Bijouterie Jewelry Table Vitrine, 1880

An elegant, antique French 19th-century Louis XV style walnut and gilt-bronze mounted "Bijouterie" table (vitrine jewelry display cabinet), circa 1890. The kidney shaped table having a beveled glass-enclosed viewing compartment, the hinged locking lid (key present) and inset with a beveled glass panel and outlined with a gilt-bronze gallery. The table having four curved glass panels around the skirt, the interior is lined with a high quality satin fabric. The vitrine is raised on slender cabriole legs with gilded cast-bronze mounts, modeled as garlanded bows with floral decoration and matching ormolu sabots to the feet. The vitrine table is in excellent condition and ready to grace your space.
