Acer campestre ‘Carnival’

Acer campestre ‘Carnival’ is a small ornamental and specimen tree, making it a great choice for adding colour and interest to smaller gardens. It is a compact, variegated form of Field Maple with attractive foliage throughout the growing season. The young leaves emerge with pinkish-red colouring, developing into attractive variegated green and cream foliage as they mature. In autumn, the leaves turn buttery yellow, providing a warm display of seasonal colour. Growing to approximately 4–6 metres in height, with a similar spread when fully established, ‘Carnival’ is well suited to smaller gardens, borders, lawns and feature planting where a larger tree would take up too much space. It is particularly well suited as a specimen tree, where its distinctive variegated foliage can be appreciated throughout the seasons.
