Direct seed is recommended, sow in early spring when soil is 10-16 degrees C. Do not cover as light is needed for germination. Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before planting out. Seed requires light to germinate, do not cover seed. Sow into individual containers or cell trays. Bottom water or mist seeds so as not to displace them. Harden off and plant when all danger of frost has passed. Cut Flower: Harvest when flower is half open and flowers are green. Also makes an excellent dried flower, harvest them when bells become firm to touch for drying.
