Description Particulars For your consideration is an Alex Vardanis 6' 0" Midge bamboo fly rod built on a Mike Brooks blank. This is a 6' 0" two-piece for a 4 weight line weighing 2.20 ounces. This consists of medium tempered cane with transparent mocha wraps tipped with a transparent orange – a very handsome combination with the blank tempering. The opaque treatment of these silks are at the metal and wooden winding check and ferrules. The grip measures 5 1/2 inches with two rings over the cork spacer capped with wood. In my hand, the action is on the quicker side of medium-fast. Very nice varnish work. A nice rod from this London, Ontario builder.
