Tamiya - Walking Brachiosaurus

Complimenting our revamped Walking Tyrannosaurus (Item 70264) and Walking Triceratops (Item 70265), this newly designed kit recreates a Walking Brachiosaurus. This kit features an assembled plastic gearbox (featuring built- in motor with cables) and wooden parts for safety and ease of assembly. Transparent plastics also offer visibility of the internal mechanism. • Length: 432mm, width: 92mm, height: 260mm (approximate dimensions). Weight: approximately 240g (including battery). • One separately sold AA battery is required. Continuous running time: about four hours. • The assembled plastic gearbox has only two cables to connect, which eliminates difficult assembly. • Gear ratio: 288:1. • Speed: about 1.8cm/s. (The model moves 1 meter in about 55 seconds.) • The body is newly designed based upon in-depth research at the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. The size is the biggest among our Educational Construction dinosaur series. • A body made of wood allows easy modifications and decoration with paint and pens. • Materials: transparent plastic and wood (poplar-type). • The model lopes forward swinging its head and tail from side to side, which gives it a more realistic look. • The link mechanism moves forelegs, weight transfer moves the head and tail, and link and crank mechanism rotation moves hind legs. • Running on even surfaces is recommended. • Challenge level: 3 (5 is the highest.). Approximate assembly time: 120 - 180 minutes.
