This piece is defined by its versatile shape: a square bottom for stability that gently curves into a generous, round top. Handwoven by us from natural rattan, the beautiful variations in the fibers ensure that your basket is a one-of-a-kind work of functional art. Extended, wrapped handles complete the design, offering both comfort and durability. Artisan Made: Designed and handcrafted by Erin and Peggy Pollard and a small team of weavers in Maine and New York. Materials: 100% Rattan Core, an abundant Climbing Palm grown in South East Asia and sourced through local longtime partners. Color: We use non-toxic, organic natural dyes and finishes approved by the consumer Product Safety Commission. Each piece is finished in our Maine Studio. Enjoy natural color variations from the plant fibers. Dimensions: Approximately 16.5" L x 14.5" W x 14"H with a depth of 12" Care: For indoor use. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Rattan is a natural and flexible plant fiber. If misshapen during use, firmly mold back into place.
