Ridge Vineyards Lytton Springs From Ridge Vineyards’ historic Lytton Springs vineyard in California’s Dry Creek Valley, this vintage brings together Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane and Mataro. Rich and full-bodied yet finely balanced, it combines ripe blackberry fruit with raspberry, black pepper and subtle American oak spice. Natural fermentation and careful maturation allow the character of the vineyard and vintage to remain at the heart of the wine. The growing season benefited from welcome winter rainfall following several years of drought, while favourable conditions during flowering helped restore crop levels. Fourteen months in American oak further integrated the wine’s fruit, tannins and spice. Tasting Profile: Appearance: Rich, deep red with impressive concentration.
