NV Knappstein Sparkling Shiraz

Knappstein Sparkling Shiraz is a classic Australian sparkling red, combining the rich, ripe fruit of Shiraz with the freshness and lift of sparkling wine. Made in South Australia, it is a great example of the distinctive Australian style of sparkling Shiraz – full of flavour, but with enough freshness to keep it lively and easy to drink. Deep ruby in colour with aromas of ripe blackberries, plums and cherries, alongside a hint of spice. The palate is juicy and generous, with plenty of dark berry fruit, soft tannins and a gentle sparkle. There is a lovely balance between the richness of the Shiraz and the freshness of the bubbles, with a smooth, fruity finish. A fun and versatile sparkling red that works particularly well with charcuterie, barbecued meats, burgers and mature cheeses. Best served lightly chilled.
