Night Rating

The Night Rating is an optional addition to a Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) or National Private Pilot’s Licence (NPPL), that allows you to fly during the hours of official night between 30 minutes after sunset and 30 minutes before sunrise. It’s an excellent way to enhance your skills and expand the times you can fly, giving you the ability to enjoy the unique experience of flying under the stars and operating in reduced visibility. While it’s not mandatory, the Night Rating is a popular choice for pilots looking to improve safety and flexibility in their flying.
