This Genuine Daikin filter is a washable replacement air filter designed for use in select Daikin indoor mini split units. It's a direct replacement for the standard air filter included with the following Daikin ductless systems: FTK18AXVJU, FTK24AXVJU, FTKF18AXVJU, FTKF24AXVJU, FTXF18AXVJU, FTXF24AXVJU, FTXC09AXVJU, FTXC12AXVJU, FTXC18AXVJU, and FTXC24AXVJU Each wall unit requires two filters. What’s Included: Two Large Washable Screen Filters (16-1/8" x 15"): Captures large particulates and dust, maintaining clean airflow. Recommended cleaning every two weeks and replacement annually. Maintenance & Care Instructions Cleaning Frequency: Vacuum the filter gently with a soft-bristle brush every two weeks. When visibly dirty, wash with a mild detergent in lukewarm water to remove dust and buildup. Drying: Allow the filter to dry completely in the shade before reinstalling. Avoid direct sunlight or high heat. Do not operate your mini split system while the filter is removed or drying, as this can allow dust to enter the unit and cause internal buildup or mold growth. Replacement: With regular cleaning, the filter can be reused for an extended period. For best performance, replace it annually—or sooner if it shows signs of wear, damage, or cannot be fully cleaned after washing. One pack contains two (2) filters.
