Take your first breaths underwater with the SSI Try Scuba program — a safe, relaxed introduction to scuba diving for complete beginners. Curious about scuba but not ready to commit to a full certification course? Tas Divers' experienced SSI professionals will help you discover the underwater world in a calm, supportive environment. With one short academic briefing and one pool/confined-water session, you'll learn how scuba equipment works, practise simple skills and enjoy the nearly weightless feeling of breathing underwater. Participants are responsible for transporting their scuba gear to the dive site) Your exact site and session time will be confirmed after booking and are subject to facility, instructor and weather conditions. The maximum training depth is 5 metres. Each participant must complete the required SSI training record forms before taking part; forms for minors must be reviewed and signed by a parent or guardian. Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Please review the Diver Medical Statement & Questionnaire before booking.
