Bransylvania Vampire’s Rosa Busuioaca de Bohotin Rose Wine

This wine is from Domeniile Averesti from it's Diamond Selection which is a premium wine collection dedicated to Romanian grape varieties that have found their finest expression in the terroir of Averesti. Zghihara, Busuioaca (vinified as dry, medium-sweet rose and dry white wine) and Feteasca Neagra have been carefully selected and crafted in Averesti’s modern style, sharing our joy for life with wine lovers everywhere. Grape harvest The grapes were carefully hand-harvested from selected vineyard plots in the morning, before 10 am, at a sugar content of 195 g/L. Winemaking The grapes were destemmed without crushing and placed in a press for maceration, which lasted 12 hours at a temperature of 8–10°C. After settling, the clarified must was transferred to stainless steel tanks, where it was warmed to 16°C and then cooled to 12°C. Fermentation lasted approximately 21 days. Tasting notes Bransylvania Vampire’s Rosa is a premium rose wine with intense aromas of dried basil are complemented by floral notes. The palate is dominated by white fruits, layered delicately with rose petals and pink grapefruit. An elegant finish reveals subtle spicy notes. The sugar concentration and high acidity complement each other beautifully, preserving the grape variety's distinctive aromas while also meeting the expectations of dry wine enthusiasts.
