NTN × RYUTARO YAMADA OBJECT

Expressing a carved wooden bear in ceramics, this extremely rare animal-motif piece is created by an artist who primarily focuses on making tableware. The rugged yet warm form of the wooden bear is carefully reproduced through the texture of clay. A weight and stillness different from wood create a new sense of presence. Silver is meticulously applied over the once-fired piece and then fired once more. The subdued radiance and dull luster accentuate the shadows of the carving. made in JAPAN
