Chiba Thermo Aktiv | Hot-Liner Glove

Chiba Thermo Aktiv – Hot-Liner Gloves for Cold Flying Days The Chiba Thermo Aktiv paragliding gloves offer reliable protection against the cold, exceptional comfort, and precise control during paragliding and hang gliding. Thanks to their windproof and breathable construction, insulating neoprene back, and durable nappa leather palm, they are particularly well-suited for cool flying days in spring, fall, and winter. The integrated Chiba Hot-Liner heating system allows for the use of additional heating pads that keep your hands comfortably warm in low temperatures. Extra-long cuffs, integrated wrist warmers, and touchscreen compatibility make the Thermo Aktiv a versatile flying glove for recreational pilots and ambitious cross-country flyers. 🔥 Hot-Liner Heating System – Additional warmth without a battery The Chiba Thermo Aktiv Hot-Liner glove features an integrated pocket on the back of the hand into which compatible activated carbon heat packs can be inserted. Once the packaging is opened, the heat packs react with oxygen to generate additional warmth. Depending on the heat pack used, warmth can last up to five hours. Unlike electrically heated paragliding gloves, the Hot-Liner system requires neither batteries nor charging cables. This makes the Chiba Thermo Aktiv a hassle-free solution for pilots who want extra warmth when needed. The heat packs are consumables and must be replaced after use. 🪂 Precise handling thanks to a sturdy nappa leather palm When paragliding, a secure grip on the brake lines and risers is crucial. The palm of the Chiba Thermo Aktiv is made of durable nappa leather and provides a grippy contact surface for controlling the glider. A reinforced thumb area protects areas subject to particularly high stress. The ergonomic design supports finger mobility and enables controlled handling during takeoff, flight, and landing. ❄️ Neoprene insulation and long cuffs to protect against cold air The back of the Chiba Thermo Aktiv is lined with insulating neoprene. Together with the warm inner lining, it protects the hands from getting cold. The windproof, breathable design reduces the impact of cold headwinds. The extra-long cuffs and integrated wrist warmers are particularly practical, providing additional protection for the sensitive wrist area. This makes the glove suitable for longer thermal flights, during which hands are exposed to low temperatures for extended periods. 📱 Touchscreen functionality for smartphones and flight instruments The integrated touchscreen functionality allows you to operate compatible smartphones and touchscreen flight instruments without taking off your gloves. This is especially handy if you want to check settings on your variometer or use a navigation app during flight. A pull-on aid makes it easier to put the gloves on. Reflective strips on the fingers round out the functional features.
