sE Electronics V7XBLACK Supercardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone

The V7 X BLACK is built for engineers and musicians who need a dynamic microphone that handles loud sources without sounding harsh or boomy. It is the instrument-tuned counterpart to the vocal-oriented V7, with a capsule voiced for guitar cabinets, snare drums, toms, hi-hats, brass, rotary organs, and choirs. The result is a balanced top end and extended lows that make mixing easier in both live and studio rooms. On a crowded stage, the tight pickup and strong rejection of off-axis sound help keep neighboring instruments out of the channel, so monitors and front of house can run hotter without feedback creeping in. In the studio, it gives tracking engineers a reliable close-miking option for amp and drum work where a natural, detailed capture matters more than coloration. Touring crews will appreciate a metal build that tolerates repeated load-ins, and the all-black finish suits stages and broadcast sets where a low-profile look matters.Compared with other dynamic mics in this class, it pairs low mechanical noise with a voicing designed specifically for instruments rather than adapted from a vocal mic. Accessories for mounting and transport are included.
