Log Grown Shiitake Mushrooms
We grow gourmet shiitake mushrooms on oak logs. The logs used in our mushroom production are responsibly harvested directly on our farm within our Forest Management Plan. Not only will you be enjoying a delicious and healthy mushroom but you will also be helping us to improve our forest's health. Shiitakes are an excellent source of vitamins B & D and iron. They are also a good protein source that can be enjoyed as a main or side dish. Each purchase comes with a complimentary recipe card to provide cooking inspiration and facts about shiitakes.
