Rather than approaching the city as a conventional guide, it focuses on the way places feel: intimate interiors, unforgettable meals, rituals, sound and the people shaping the city’s creative and culinary culture. Stories include a visit to the hidden bar Roma Norte and its womb-like interior, a conversation with María of Casa María Cacao about a home conceived around the ceremonial history of chocolate, and a visual study of fruit, salt and spice that turns food into something tactile and erotic. Each story is paired with its own soundtrack, curated by Mexico City-based sound architect Ana Velasco and accessed via QR code — extending the issue beyond print into a more immersive portrait of the city.
