We manufacture these hinge pins in-house to precise tolerances using premium Grade 5 titanium and one of the most sophisticated Swiss lathes available. The result is the perfect upgrade for any racer looking to reduce vehicle weight while adding precision, performance, and style. The threaded portion is manufactured using a thread-rolling process. Unlike traditional cut threads, which cut through and disrupt the material’s natural grain flow, cold-formed threads are rolled into shape, preserving the continuous grain flow of the material. This results in a stronger, more uniform thread structure. Skin oils, fingerprints, dirt, and other contaminants can build up on the surface and make the anodized color appear dull, uneven, or different from its original appearance. In many cases, the original color can be restored with a simple cleaning. Dampen a soft, lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and gently wipe the titanium surface to remove oils and contaminants. Allow the part to air dry completely or wipe it with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Important: Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds, steel wool, or aggressive scrubbing, as these can damage or alter the anodized finish. With proper cleaning and handling, your titanium part can maintain its original anodized appearance for a long time.
