Tudor Black Bay - 41mm 79230N 2018 [Preowned]

Overview The Tudor Black Bay, reference 79230N, is the 41mm black dial configuration of the line that established Tudor’s modern heritage diving identity. Introduced at Baselworld in 2016 with Tudor’s in-house movement, it carried the Black Bay’s vintage dive watch proportions into the manufacture calibre era, and it was the reference point for the Black Bay family that followed. Tudor discontinued the 79230N in 2024. The case is 41mm stainless steel with a 22mm lug width and a rotating dive bezel with a black aluminium insert. The black dial carries applied markers and Tudor’s snowflake hour hand, set under a domed sapphire crystal. Water resistance is 200 metres. This example comes on the steel bracelet, with an additional black NATO strap. The movement is Calibre MT5602: Tudor’s in-house automatic, COSC-certified, with a silicon balance spring and approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The 79230N’s replacement, the 7941A1A0NU, brings a METAS-certified movement and a new clasp, but it starts at a significantly higher base, from RM16,200 on our website. This example may prove to be a value entry into the brand for those who like 41mm watches, at roughly 38% below the new reference’s starting price. Preowned, excellent condition, complete original set with box and papers dated June 2018, at RM10,000.
