Vintage Figural Apple Ice Bucket with Diamond Pattern

Small apple-shaped metal vessel with a removable lid, raised stem, and two modeled leaves. A diamond lattice pattern covers the rounded body, catching the light across the silver-colored surface. Believed to have been intended as a small ice bucket, it also makes a distinctive covered tabletop accent. The silvery material is identified as white brass. Figural fruit forms were a popular way to bring decorative character to tabletop serving pieces. Shows minor wear, tarnish, and scattered areas of surface oxidation or rust. 5" dia x 6.5" H MM - C-12390 - 012225 MM - 102926 For information regarding shipping, please visit our Terms & Conditions page here.
