This vintage Danish modern teak secretaire with a desk and small hidden vanity was made in the 1960s. It is a fantastic example of high-quality Danish mid-century carpentry that combines elegance and functionalism. Overall size is H: 100 / W: 80 / D: 41 cm. The cabinet consists of three big and three small drawers, a hidden pull-out mirror, and a functional pull-out desk that can create a space for a home office while ensuring just enough place for storage, cosmetics, and decorations. The drawer fronts are joined using traditional dovetail joints, demonstrating the high level of craftsmanship typical of Danish furniture of the period. This piece of furniture can also be used as a vanity, and because of its size, it will perfectly match smaller apartments or bedrooms. Minimalist lines, but still very decorative, with many solid teak sculptural details. Additional dimensions: desk height: 68 cm, depth with extended desk: 65 cm, upper drawers height: 5.5 cm, big drawers height: 10 cm, ground clearance: 25 cm, mirror size is 22×36 cm. The cabinet has been renovated thoroughly. We have made sure that drawers and pull-out mechanisms work smoothly. The wood has been cleaned and finished with layers of satin lacquer for extra protection and a low-luster mid-century look. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm its originality. The legs are detachable for shipping. Overall, the secretaire is in perfect original condition.
