Finished garment - Tudor woman's black worsted gown as featured in The Typical Tudor

• Finished garment • Tudor Tailor exclusive Woman's late Elizabethan style loose gown made for Tudor Tailor events and featured in The Typical Tudor book and suitable for a middling or gentle woman from 1550 to the early 1600s. Made of 100% worsted wool with a cotton velvet collar and lined throughout in black linen. The sleeves wwre changed in 2019 to accommodate farthingale sleeve supports, so the worsted is of a slightly different quality. The sleeves feature an integral cane hoop support inside the sleeve head made from linen. The sleeves fasten at the wrist with a pair of hand made brass hooks and eyes. All finishing is by hand and there is no visible machine stitching on the inside or outside. Worn for a two photoshoots and a number of Tudor events, the gown is in very good condition . No other garments are included.
