Archival ink on paper, 2025 — 11.7 × 16.5 in | 29.7 × 41.9 cm Lines Etched emerged as a natural extension of Tres Triangles, yet took on a character entirely its own. What began as an exploration of rectangles and squares became something more consuming — a hand-drawn architecture of nested forms, each one cross-hatched with dense, directional line until the page became a kind of city seen from above. Urban. Precise. Almost relentless in its geometry. What surprises me still is that total control produced something that feels alive. The occasional black square punctuates the composition like a void — a window, an absence, a breath. The work rewards close attention; the further in you look, the more structure reveals itself.
