925 silver filigree earrings set with garnet stones

Color that catches the eye, craft that holds it. This filigree earrings features a natural garnet whose rich, wine-dark color intensifies as light passes through it. Each earring is hand-forged from 925 sterling silver using traditional Yemenite filigree methods. Fine wire is twisted, coiled, and soldered into the characteristic openwork patterns. The pair is crafted in sequence to match in proportion while retaining the subtle individuality of handmade work. The weight and balance of each earring is carefully considered during construction. Too heavy and they pull uncomfortably; too light and they lack the presence that hand-forged silver should carry. Finding this balance is part of the craft passed down through generations.
