Daftmill 2013 Summer Batch Release - Bottled 2026

The Daftmill Summer Batch 2026 Release is the latest seasonal expression from one of Scotland's rare single-estate, farm-to-bottle distilleries. Owned and operated by brothers Francis and Ian Cuthbert in Fife, Daftmill is renowned for its meticulous approach to whisky making. This release was produced from Concerto barley grown in the farm's south fields, harvested in September 2011 and malted the following spring before being distilled in summer 2013. For this release, Francis Cuthbert selected and married 14 first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, matured on the upper level of Daftmill's traditional dunnage warehouse. Bottled in June 2026 at 46% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration, the Summer Batch is limited to just 3,775 bottles. Elegant and beautifully layered, the nose combines fresh floral herbs with creamy vanilla and custard. The palate develops with ginger, cookie dough, ripe melon, and orchard fruits, while the bourbon casks contribute a rich yet refined sweetness. Lingering vanilla, citrus, and delicate spice create a graceful, balanced finish characteristic of Daftmill's highly sought-after Lowland style. Limit to 2 bottles per customer
