The 2023 Morgon from Marcel Lapierre is a vibrant, pure expression of Gamay from one of Beaujolais’ most renowned crus, showing classic aromas of cherry, raspberry and violet with a subtle hint of liquorice, alongside a touch of earthy complexity. It offers supple tannins, fresh, crunchy acidity and a silky yet energetic finish, with the structure to age gracefully for up to a decade. This beautifully balanced, food-friendly wine pairs effortlessly with charcuterie, roast chicken, pork dishes or mushroom-based plates, where its freshness and gentle structure complement savoury flavours.
