Pair of Vintage Krueger Metal Products Fiberglass Upholstered Shell Armchairs

Pair of vintage mid-century modern armchairs by Krueger Metal Products of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Each chair has a molded fiberglass shell with blue upholstered interior, contrasting light-colored shell and trim, and four chrome legs. The wide curved arms and wraparound shell have a form similar to the molded fiberglass armchairs popularized by Charles and Ray Eames during the period. Manufacturer’s stamp is located on the underside of the chairs. Dimensions: 25.5”W x 23.25”D x 32.25”H seat height is 19” and seat depth is 18.5” Condition: This pair is in well used-vintage condition. The fiberglass shells have scratches, scuffs, marks, and surface wear throughout. The metal legs have scratches and scuffs, with oxidation particularly around the feet. The blue upholstery is well worn with fading, discoloration, staining, scattered marks, and some small holes and areas of fabric loss, as photographed. Please see photos for full condition details.
