Featuring our durable Teijin Triple Ripstop dacron airframe, the Reflex offers a little softer and more playful all-terrain riding experience compared to the Vortex. A thicker material than Aluula (used on the Vortex airframe), Dacron is also naturally more resistant to abrasion when scuffed on the beach. Offers more accessibility than the Vortex. 3 strut Aluula airframe - feels stiffer and sharper, with a constantly more switched-on feel. Less aspect ratio offers more low end power. The Reflex is still considered a relatively high-aspect design. More aspect ratio for faster forward flight and more top end performance. ACCESSIBILITY AND HANDLING Softer dacron airframe also allows for more material twist under load, which means the Reflex turns more tightly through a loop with less power. Ultra stiff Aluula airframe with a slightly higher-aspect ratio offers extreme stability and consistent handling across the whole wind range. More drive and pull through a slightly wider loop. The 'magic' second lift and superbly reliable catch are more pronounced on the Vortex.
