God will hear you in a short time. My Son allows Himself to be touched. That same night, the enemy advance inexplicably halted. Within days, an armistice ended the war. Our Lady of Hope — Notre-Dame de Pontmain — had interceded. This icon depicts Our Lady of Hope in her dark blue star-studded mantle, arms opened in a gesture of welcome and intercession, flanked by candles and the red crucifix she bore during the apparition.
