cFluor^® UV515 Anti-Mouse CD117 (c-Kit) (2B8)

The rat monoclonal antibody clone 2B8 binds to mouse CD117 (c-Kit), a ~145 kDa type 1 transmembrane receptor for Stem Cell Factor (SCF), also known as Steel factor receptor. CD117 is expressed on mouse hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, mast cells, and certain acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells. It is used as a marker for flow cytometry to identify these cell populations in mouse bone marrow. A key population identified using this marker is the Lin⁻ Sca-1⁺ c-Kit⁺ (LSK) cell fraction, which contains multipotent hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 μL per 1 million cells in a staining volume of 100 μL. If whole blood is analyzed, then use 5 μL per 100 μL.
