Designer Deadstock – Laundered Linen – Blue

This lightweight linen has a beautifully soft, washed hand and gentledrape right off the bolt. It is fairly sheer, so you may prefer to add a lining to your project. This fabric would be perfect for tops, lined dresses and skirts, curtains, and more. Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!). Content: 100% linen Width: 54″ Weight: 4.9 oz per square yard / 165 GSM Care Instructions: To make linen wrinkle less, follow these instructions from Sandra Betzina: Before washing, iron the fabric with the hottest, driest iron possible. Machine wash in hot water and tumble dry on high heat. Remove only when completely dry.
