Taking the longer route to a favourite place and stopping somewhere new gave me a completely different view of the lake and sky… and what a beautiful view it was! Beams of light stretched towards the horizon, fresh spring colour danced across the water and layers of billowing clouds filled the sky above. It was one of those views that instantly captured my attention, stayed in my heart and, of course, followed me home to the studio.
