Moving into a dorm? Decorating your first apartment? Or just looking for the perfect back-to-school creative night? Join us for Freshman Fiber Fest at Habibi Bazaar, where you'll design and tuft your own custom piece to make your new space feel like home. Whether it's your favorite mascot, smiley face, cherries, a checkerboard pattern, your initials, or something completely unique, we'll help bring your idea to life. Workshop Dates & Time August 12-14 6:00 PM Choose Your Size 20x20 inch – Perfect as dorm wall art or a small decorative accent. 30x30 inch – Great for a statement rug beside your bed, desk, or entryway. Your Ticket Includes All tufting materials One-on-one instructor guidance Complimentary snacks and drinks Professional rug finishing (gluing, backing, and shaving) Pick up your finished rug once it's been professionally completed What to Know Beginner-friendly. No experience needed. We draw your design before class. Please arrive 15 minutes early to choose your yarn colors. Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be permitted to join. Recommended for ages 16+. Rugs take 2-3 weeks to be completed. Please note: Shipping is not included. Finished rugs are available for studio pickup, or shipping can be purchased separately once your rug is complete. Design Requirements: All submitted designs must follow our Rug Tufting Workshop Design Guidelines. Designs that do not meet these guidelines may be declined or require a different design selection.
