At the heart of this build is an exceptional hybrid blank capable of handling extreme bending angles, commonly referred to as high-sticking. Its 211 cm (7') length provides the ideal lever for achieving long casting distances while maintaining complete control during the pumping phase of the fight. With its 150 lb line rating, this kit stands out as the benchmark choice for bluefin tuna anglers seeking a rod that delivers outstanding strength and reliability. Assembly and Components: Rodhouse Expertise at Your Service This kit includes every structural component required to build a high-performance rod, including a complete set of Fuji SiC MN series guides. To optimize line flow during casting, we recommend swapping the size 40 and size 30 guides to prevent braided line from rubbing against the guide frames. Because durability is critical at this power level, applying underwraps coated with finish before installing the guides is mandatory to protect the blank from excessive pressure. To securely mount the aluminum gimbal and the Fuji DPS 22 reel seat, we recommend using fiberglass drywall tape together with Tuff Glue for maximum long-term strength. To complement the blank's Burgundy Red cross-carbon finish, we offer matching red aluminum handle accessories. The EVA grips can be trimmed to your preferred length according to your body size and fighting style, with a distance of 48 to 50 cm (19 to 20 inches) between the gimbal and the reel foot considered the standard configuration. Please note that wrapping thread and rod-building tools are not included in this specific bundle. ```
