Zuazo Gaston Rioja Reserva

95% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano, quality Reserva Rioja. Brilliant ruby red. Spicy nose featuring blackberry, coriander seed and fennel, medium bodied but long and complex palate, strawberry, sesame, dried fig, porcini mushroom, and orange peel. Fresh with fine grained ripe tannins. Grapes are carefully selected before an 8 days maceration process and 10 to 12 days fermentation at controlled temperature, which ensure that the wine acquires the perfect colour and tannins. Aged in 225 L. French (65%) and American (35%) Oak barrels for 20 months. Once bottled it will round off for at least 18 months before release. Old fashioned frosted glass bottle. Recommended food pairing: Roasted Meats, game and strong cheeses.
