A truly unique custom-built Manson travel guitar, handcrafted by Hugh Manson for Martin Barre and built to his personal specification. Having travelled the world alongside Martin for many years, this compact instrument was more than just a practice guitar, occasionally stepping into service as an on-stage backup when required. Despite its reduced size, there are no compromises in its construction. The guitar features a beautifully figured birdseye maple neck paired with an eye-catching burl top and an incredible dark ebony board, showcasing the level of craftsmanship for which Manson has long been renowned. The guitar features gold Sperzel lockings tuners, and features 2 EMG single coil pickups and a DiMarzio humbucker in the bridge position. Built specifically for a professional touring musician, every aspect of the instrument was designed with reliability, portability and playability in mind. Originally wired for stereo operation, the electronics have since been professionally converted to a conventional mono configuration, making it far more practical for everyday use while preserving the guitar's functionality.
